SecureCheck.com.au is operated by Dominet BV. Everything on this site is general information about VPNs, privacy and online safety in Australia. It isn't legal advice and it isn't technical advice for your device, network or business.
Laws and guidance change
We summarise Australian laws and official guidance from the government bodies that publish them, including Home Affairs, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, the National Anti-Scam Centre, Scamwatch, Moneysmart, eSafety and the Australian Cyber Security Centre. Each page says when we checked it. If you need advice about your own legal position, talk to a qualified lawyer.
Company facts
We name a VPN or security company only with facts from its own website, with the date we read them. Companies are listed in alphabetical order, and that order is not a ranking. Server counts, audits, plans and refund rules can change at any time, so check the company's own page before you buy.
What a VPN can't do
The Australian Cyber Security Centre says a VPN won't protect you from malware, phishing or flaws in your software. Nothing on this site should be read as saying a VPN makes you anonymous or safe from scams.
If you've been scammed
We can't help with an individual case. Contact your bank first, then follow the steps on Scamwatch.
Affiliate links
No link on this site is an affiliate link right now. We may earn from VPN or security companies in future. Our affiliate disclosure explains how that would work.
